We are looking for a seasoned Social Media Manager to join our fast growing team working from our Ikeja, Lagos office. You will be responsible for improving FlexiWorkr (and any assigned clients) brand identity online and build a social media presence for the brand, create and deliver high-quality content, drive engagement, develop and run advertising campaigns. The goal is to create world-class social media presence across channels to achieve superior engagement and intimacy, the website traffic and revenue results.


A great Social Media Manager will have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. 


You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate teams to execute according to a plan and have a passion for developing creative partnership strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement and manage social media strategies for FlexiWorkr and external clients.

  • Analyse social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media growth.

  • Develop brand-focused engaging and creative content for social media platforms regularly.

  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance of social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Instagram Insights.

  • Respond to DMs and engage with competitor brands and followers across social media platforms.

  • Stay up to date with latest social media trends and best practices.

  • Increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement.

  • Amplify and maintain a solid online presence across the company's social media platforms.

  • Manage and facilitate social media communities and foster engagement across all social media platforms.

  • Monitor social media trends locally and globally and suggest ways to creatively leverage them in line with our brand’s DNA.

Who You are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or the Arts.

  • 1+ years proven experience as a Social Media Manager/Content Creator.

  • Brand Marketing skills.

  • Excellent storytelling, copywriting and editing skills.

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.

  • Experience designing and creating visual content.

  • Experience using publishing tools such as Hootsuite.

  • Advanced knowledge of content creation tools like; Canva, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and other video editing tools.

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.

  • Adaptable attitude, innovative and open to learning new tips and tricks in the industry.

  • Experience using Project Management tools such as; Asana.
